I don't get why. Roaches are cool, man. I kept a few in college. Liberated them from the biology lab after a guy had finished his research. Huey, Dewy, and Louis. [Only Newt could talk about roaches with such fondness.]

I'm leaning towards amphibian because he spends so much time in the water, but the physiology suggests reptile, possibly even long lost semi-aquatic saurian. And the fire breath? How does that even work? No, man, it's not about being Godzilla, it's about understanding him.
